For a river to be a river it has to have water flowing through or else it becomes a dry river bed. The same applies to the Spirit filled life! 7:38

Do you have a river of life flowing out through you? 7:38

Jesus still divides opinion today, but no one can remain on the fence for ever 7:40-43

Jesus demonstrated His unity with God by only teaching what His Father told Him 7:16

Those who bring honour to God make Gods will their prime concern, then they will know if the teaching they hear is truly from God 7:17

A Christian teacher will always point others to God and His will, and not to themselves 7:18

Legalism is aways around so don’t let it trip you up! it has no part in the Gospel 7:23

We are united with Jesus Christ by believing in His death and resurrection 6:51

All who are united with Jesus by eating His flesh and drinking His blood remain in Him and He in them 6:56

When ever we read the Bible we need the Holy Spirit to help us 6:63

Jesus is the True Bread from Heaven John 6:22-51

Because many people often follow Jesus for purely self-centred reasons, they fail to find true satisfaction, everyone needs to come to and feed on the True Bread From Heaven Jesus Christ who gives eternal Life 6:26-27

God wills that people come to Jesus and those who do will never be turned away by Him 6:37

Gods will is that all who believe in Jesus will never be lost and will receive eternal Life and experience the resurrection 6:39

Jesus does not give living bread He said “I am the Living Bread” as we feed on Him we are united with Him and will live forever 6:51

Jesus does not allow unbelieving people to see death as the end of it all, there is a judgement to face 5:29

We must not be like those who know what the Bible says but fail to apply it 5:39-40

After so many years the mans sickness had become a way of life, never let any hardship let you lose hope 5:7

Even though God knows all about us we still need to confess any lack to Him Mathew 6:7

The Jews saw a broken rule rather than a miracle therefore they were limiting the way God was working in their day 5:1

We are nourished not only by what we take in but by what we give out 4:34

The Samaritans believed for themselves but they still needed someone to bring them to Jesus so they could hear for themselves, do you enjoy sharing your faith? Have you ever considered that witnessing for Jesus carries a future reward? 4:42

The official who came to Jesus for his sons healing shows what can happen when we, 1 come to Jesus 2 believe and do what Jesus tells us 3 It can result in others even our own household believing in Jesus for themselves 4:49-53

Jesus Gives Living Water John 4:1-26

PAUSE FOR THOUGHT

The only one who can satisfy the thirsty soul is Jesus we only have to ask and he will give living water. 4:10

The woman mistook what Jesus was offering she thought it would make her life easier, she thought she would be relieved from her daily task of fetching water. In promising living water Jesus does not promise an easier life, but he does promise a totally fulfilled life now and forever 4:15.

The Samaritan woman when challenged by Jesus about her lifestyle put up a religious smoke screen! How important to you is the “place”where you worship or the “how” you worship? How often is the way you worship God “in spirit and truth” 4:20

For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24 N.L.T.

A dispute arose between Johns disciples and a certain Jew about purification, the man who does so can easily miss the point 3:25

John the Baptist told his disciples regarding his ministry that a man can only receive what he is given from heaven 3:27

As the Bridegrooms friend John rejoiced to stand and hear the Bridegrooms voice, many listen but few hear the Bridegrooms voice, John said this fulfilled his joy; Joy is the gauges the difference between a listener and a hearer 3:29

Are there any areas in your life where you need to decrease so Jesus can increase? 3:30
